The Dakota Lions Club was chartered on March 10, 1955, in Dakota, Illinois. Our sponsoring club was the Lena Lions Club, Lena, Illinois.

Our Purpose:
We are a group of service minded men/women committed to our community. We take an active interest in the civic, cultural, social and moral welfare of the community in which we live.

The Dakota Lions Club website is hosted by the ALDA-ROCK chapter. This is a support group for late-deafened individuals who have lost their hearing postlingually, any time after the development of speech and language. Please visit the other pages on this site to learn more about them.
